Hanser Garcia Cuban male swimmer Hanser Garcia could get classified to the finals of the 100 freestyle meters for the 2012 Olympic Games Tuesday.

Garcia, two-time medallist in the Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico, got the 3rd best record of the classification round, despite he started from the 8th line at the second heat.

Garcia got 48.4 seconds (national record), only excelled by Australian Jameas Magnussem (47.63) and US athlete Nathan Adrian (47.97).

Latin America will also be represented by Brazilian Cesar Cielo, now World Champion, and who had the fifth best record in the classification heats with 48.17. (PL)
