Another item discussed was to concentrate local environment services to preserving, restoring and making a good use of biodiversity as alternative for state and family socio-economic development.

Elsa Esquivel, specialist of Cooperativa AMBIO Co. of Mexico, talked on the Indigenous communities participation in the carbon world market capture and sales via forest management and forest farms to mitigate greenhouse effect through Scolet Te o rbol que crece project.

It extends to planting live fences, improving shade coffee plantations and intermix with the live fences and recovered lands, for a potential carbon capture above 104t per hectare. (PL)
