Book Dedicated to President Hugo Chavez Presented in Cuba PDF Print E-mail

chavezThe book "From Barinas to Miraflores: Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias", by writer Fernando Diaz, was presented on Saturday in Ciego de Avila, as a present for the 58th birthday of the Venezuelan President.

At the Provincial Committee of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC) in this city, Diaz said that the text, published by the Ciencias Sociales Publishing House, describes the first steps in the formation of one of the world's most charismatic revolutionaries.

Teresa Mora, head of the ideological department of the PCC in the territory, pointed out that the book shows the sensitive leader that shapes his ideology through Simon Bolivar's thinking, his main referent, and of persons that are indispensable in his life, like Maisanta, Ezequiel Zamora, Rosa Ines, Adan and Fidel, pointed out Mora.

This work represents an opportunity to appreciate, in all of his magnitude, the Chavez turned into the voice of hope of the dispossessed and the perpetuator of the noblest ideas of the Liberator, she concluded.

Diaz, a graduate in History and Social Sciences, is also the author of "Camilo por los montes surcados"; "Polo Montañez"; and of "Ramon Castro Ruz, simbolo de la campiña cubana". (acn)
