Spreading the Truth About the Cuban Five |

 In order to spread the facts about the case of the Cuban Five, the anti-terrorist fighters Gerardo, René, Fernando, Antonio and Ramón, a journalism club specialized in the case was founded at the venue of the Cuban Friendship Institute (ICAP) in Ciego de Avila.
Reference was made to the fact that it is necessary to increase the flow of information about the Five by means of web pages and through the social networks, as well as the resources available to all the colleagues of the media in this central Cuban province.
The Club will be chaired by Iraida María Hernández Prado, a reporter of the Invasor newspaper, while Iván Paz Nogueiras, a correspondent to the Reloj radio station, will be the vice-president.
Thus, the Ciego de Avila press, engaged in reflecting the truth about the Cuban anti-terrorist unjustly jailed in US prisons, joins the Solidarity Committees for the liberation of the Five.
The work of the Avilanian journalists, combined with the actions done by the rest of Cuban journalist, will be very important to break the wall of silence built by the U.S. mainstream media around the case of the Cuban antiterrorist fighters.
