President Raul Castro Heads Cuban Delegation to Rio+20 |

Cuban President Raul Castro Ruz is heading the island's delegation that will participate at the Rio+20 UN Conference on Sustainable Development, which will open sessions today and run until Friday in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro.
According to Granma daily newspaper, the UN conference follows up on the 1992 Earth Summit and other high-level forums on sustainable development, held over the past 20 years.
The Cuban delegation also includes the vice-president of the Cuban Council of Ministers Miguel Diaz-Canel, foreign minister Bruno Rodriguez and the minister of Science, Technology and the Environment Elba Rosa Perez. (acn)
